I had this Canon fax machine JX210P for a month or so and it works well as a fax, copier and black and white printers. This is a good choice for those looking for a fax machine and a cheap printer for light documents. The fax machine is almost made of plastic so it may be fragile but worth the price.

The print quality is very good. Faxes sent and received are very clear as well as printed documents. The JX210P uses Canon PG-40 cartridges, which sell for under $ 20 and the ink dries quickly without smudging. The machine comes with a phone cable but not USB cable.

Anyway, this fax is easy to use but you should still follow the manual in order to save time and make use of it. It holds up to 60 pages at a time and paper feeding easily without interference or loss of alignment. It has some other basic features: speed dialing, caller ID, automatic redial, automatic document feeder and the ENERGY STAR qualification.

The main disadvantage is print and fax are both quite slow, so if you need a heavy-duty fax machine don’t go with it. For users of light use is no big deal. Who cares if it takes 6 or 3 seconds to send a page, or if you only use it once a week to send three pages? However, any person who sends a lot of faxes or very long faxes, you probably want to look for a faster model.

Generally speaking, I am very happy with Canon fax machine JX210P. I wish it was a little faster, and its all plastic construction makes me wondering how long it will last. But the price is a good deal for what it does.
